Bringing the Saiga Antelope Back to the Ustyurt Plateau

Since 2004 a researcher-led alliance has worked with schools, ex-hunters and rangers on Uzbekistan's Ustyurt plateau and the dried Aral seabed to pull the critically endangered saiga antelope back from the brink.
