Established in 1990, FUNDAECO conserves biodiversity across protected areas and reserves in Guatemala, anchored by its Caribbean Guatemala REDD+ project to prevent deforestation. It works in partnership with hundreds of rural communities, integrating conservation with sustainable livelihoods. Its women's clinics network pairs forest protection with reproductive health and education services.
