IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) is a Baku NGO founded in 2011 that runs Azerbaijan's national tree-planting movement, the Green Marathon, jointly organized with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. Volunteers plant native species such as beech, Eastern plane, Eldar pine and olive across degraded pastures and cities, and the group also runs Caspian coastline cleanups and a long-running paper-recycling program. It engages young people through storytelling and photo contests, environmental education, and hands-on planting days in regions from Gadabay to Lankaran.
