Keep Bermuda Beautiful (KBB), Registered Charity #26, was formed in 1964 by a subcommittee of the Garden Club and is one of Bermuda's oldest environmental nonprofits. Through its Great Big Bermuda Cleanup, Island-Wide Coastal Cleanup, monthly parish cleanups and school-based Race to Recycle and Take Flight programs, tens of thousands of KBB volunteers have removed over one million pounds of litter, illegal dumping and ocean pollution from Bermuda's 21 square miles of land and 64 linear miles of coastline over six decades. The organization also runs an Adopt-A-Spot program, partners with the Bermuda Government on an Abandoned Boats removal project, and delivers marine debris and environmental education in schools across the island.
