GlazCraft is a community programme of Impactlution, a Petaling Jaya social enterprise. Used bottles from the PJ Eco Recycling Plaza are washed, de-labelled and crushed into glass sand under 2mm and cullets up to 10mm, mixed with cement, moulded, cured for about 24 hours and sealed. Two women's groups in Selangor (Puchong and Kampung Dato Harun) make the planters, trays, coasters and figurines, and a third community in Iskandar Puteri, Johor began its own glass recycling programme in July 2026. The programme has processed about 15 tonnes of glass over three years, and its Malaysian-made crusher is being supplied to communities with training so they can earn from the glass sand.
