HANDS Welfare Foundation is a Pakistani NGO whose WASH program combines household toilets, handwashing points and community mobilisation. Its site reports 5,380 open-defecation-free declared villages (about 4.3 million people) and 47,061 sanitation schemes to date, plus 188 school WASH clubs with 23,393 students and 295 teachers. Because toilets without sewers can pollute, it also builds constructed wetlands that treat wastewater and recycle it for green spaces. On menstrual health it set a goal of leading a national movement by 2030 and, after the 2022 floods in Sindh and Balochistan, delivered hygiene kits to 13,313 families.
