The Ebiil Society, led by executive director Ann Singeo, worked with women fishers in Ngardmau and other Palau states under the IUCN Oceania Kiwa Initiative. It raised 8,000 sandfish and grayfish sea cucumbers and gave them to 49 participants, 22 of them women fishers, for reseeding. At Toluk el Bad the number of adult sandfish grew from 5 to 1,800 over about 18,000 square feet, and at Matul from 0 to 1,500. The project also set up four giant clam farms with 4,000 seed clams, released about 300 giant clams on the Ngarchelong-Bengall reef and taught 231 students (IUCN report, March 2025).
