Respond Global operates HELPR-1, a Vanuatu-flagged health and logistics vessel that can carry up to 52 people for three weeks without resupply. Under Australia's REnew Pacific program it is installing 20 new off-grid solar systems and refurbishing 20 more at health facilities across Vanuatu's six provinces, with the project reaching up to 80,000 people. At Quatvaes Hospital in Torba Province, a 15 kW system now supports oxygen concentrators and a newly installed X-ray machine for more than 11,000 people. The first system went in at Loh Health Centre, which serves about 2,000 people.
