Rise Beyond the Reef — Livelihoods for Remote Fiji

Rise Beyond the Reef bridges remote Fijian communities, government, and the private sector, training women to produce contemporary homewares and art rooted in traditional skills. Sales through resort partners and international markets have raised producer incomes by 20 to 100 percent, strengthening women's voice in household and village decisions. The nonprofit began with five villages in 2014 and has expanded across Fiji's rural north and west, including post-cyclone recovery work.
