Roatan Marine Park is a community-based nonprofit that runs marine patrols, coral restoration, and lionfish-control programs across the Bay Islands National Marine Park, Honduras's largest MPA. Its team out-plants lab-grown and field-fragmented coral, certifies local lionfish hunters to curb the invasive species, and runs education programs including a Girls in Marine Sciences camp for young women on Roatan. Citizen-science patrols use the RMP iPatrol app to report reef damage and illegal fishing in real time.
