Ryan's Well Foundation

Ryan's Well Foundation began when Canadian first-grader Ryan Hreljac did chores to raise money for a well in Uganda in 1998, and grew into a registered charity. It has since completed 1,834 water projects and 1,323 latrines across 17 countries, bringing safe water and sanitation to more than 1.6 million people. Current work focuses on Uganda and Ghana, built slowly and carefully with local partners.
