Founded in 2014 and based at Cuc Phuong National Park, Save Vietnam's Wildlife rescues, rehabilitates, and releases animals confiscated from the illegal wildlife trade, with a special focus on the world's most trafficked mammal, the pangolin. Nearly 60% of rescued pangolins have been successfully returned to the wild, including 12 Sunda pangolins released in January 2025. SVW also runs anti-poaching patrols, conservation breeding research, and public education programs.
