AfB Slovakia, based in Trnava, is the Slovak arm of afb social & green IT, which describes itself as Europe's largest non-profit IT company. Firms hand over end-of-life IT hardware, which is securely data-wiped, refurbished and remarketed. Its 2025 figures show a 96% reuse rate, 1,035 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions avoided and 308 tonnes of raw materials saved in Slovakia. Across the afb group, 727,780 IT and mobile devices were processed in 2025 with 71% returned to market, and in 2024 49% of the group's employees were people with disabilities.
