Take 3 for the Sea

Founded in 2009 by a surfer, a marine ecologist and an environmentalist, Take 3 for the Sea's core call to action -- take 3 pieces of rubbish whenever you leave a beach, waterway or park -- has been adopted in over a hundred countries. The Australian charity runs classroom and corporate education programmes that have reached hundreds of thousands of students, with school programmes measuring an average 92% drop in playground litter afterwards. Its #Take3fortheSea social campaign and volunteer clean-ups have helped remove tens of millions of pieces of litter from beaches and waterways worldwide.
