Ghana Wildlife Society, the country's BirdLife International partner, works across research, species recovery, protected-area support and conservation education. With support from Foundation Franklinia, its project on the critically endangered, Ghana-endemic Talbotiella gentii tree germinated 45,000 seedlings and expanded the species' occupied habitat from 34.53 to 74.03 hectares through in-situ restoration and community nursery work. The Society also runs Ghana's longest-standing monthly birdwalk (since 2012), supports Mole National Park's anti-poaching monitoring, and leads coastal wetland shorebird surveys that recorded over 71,000 birds in a single count at Songor lagoon.
